Canada Day weekend is often one of the busiest weekends of the year as we have teams covering events and festivals across Canada. We’re proudly based in the 1000 Islands region of Ontario so when an event comes around in our home territory we are sure to attend and help spread the word. This summer the annual 1000 Islands Regatta promised an all-star entertainment lineup with headliners Platinum Blonde, Jason Blaine and the Northern Pikes hitting the stage over the weekend with loud and fast hydro-plane racing skimming the water on the St. Lawrence River during the day.

Josh Dun and Tyler Joseph of Twenty One Pilots entertained thousands of fans at two sold-out shows at Nationwide Arena in their hometown of Columbus, Ohio over the weekend. The city temporarily renamed a portion of Nationwide Blvd “Twenty One Pilots Blvd” in their honor.

Tim Horton’s Dragon Boat Festival is an acclaimed sporting and family-friendly event held annually in Ottawa.The Dragon Boat races are the largest in North America, and coupled with the free concerts and activities hosted each day, Mooney’s Bay Park sees an influx of locals and visitors to enjoy the event. This year, the Festival was held June 20th to 23rd, and talent from across Canada were slotted to play four evenings on the Hillside stage.

The annual event hosts 200 teams from across North America who participate in the community, corporate, and competitive races. As the sun sets music fills the air and this summer the first half of the fest was kicked off with Half Moon Run and Alan Doyle.
