Ottawa’s biggest concert promoters, Spectrasonic, had a big month in September, and brings in a super busy month of shows in October leading up to Halloween.
The month starts big with Royal Canoe‘s RAYZ Tour with Begonia at the 27 Club on October 3rd. The “musical mad scientist” are bound to get the crowd on the dance floor with their catchy pop rock tunes!

The California punk legends Swingin’ Utters hit Babylon with Gallows Bound on October 12th. The band is celebrating their 25th anniversary and shows no signs of slowing down.
Vancouver’s Dear Rouge comes back to Ottawa since RBC Bluesfest and takes the stage at the Bronson Centre on October 12th.

Singer-songwriter Dan Bejar brings Destroyer for a solo show at The 27 Club on October 22nd.
Halloween weekend presents two huge shows, Emocore show at House of Targ on October 26th with members from We Were Sharks/Premonition who will be performing Taking Back Sunday, My Friend PJ performing Jimmy Eat World, Mosely performing Thrice, and Slip performing My Chemical Romance’s Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge.
Saturday the 27th will be the night for Spectrasonic and Ottawa rock radio station Rebel 101.7’s Halloween party at The 27 Club and to throw a rockin’ bash, the Toronto rockers The Lazys and Oshawa’s The Standstills will be at attendance!
