Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Jayme Lynne  services her debut single “Little Bit of First Kiss” nationally today to Canadian country music radio stations.Produced by Adam Newcomb (Cadence Grace) and buoyed by a sunny arrangement and a vibrant chorus,  the song was co-written by Lynne, Canada’s newest and freshest country music talent, with Stephen Adrian Lawrence (Aaron Pritchett’s “When A Momma’s Boy Meets A Daddy’s Girl”) and reflects the first moments of lovestruck attraction and budding romance.

“It’s about the butterflies you get in the early stages of the relationship,” Lynne explains. “It’s fun, upbeat and really highlights my playful personality. I wanted to kick-off my career with something lighthearted.”

The single, which clocks in at 2:50, is also accompanied by a video directed by Daniel Dadoun.

“The video is really cheesy in the sweetest way,” Lynne admits. “My video boyfriend walks into this house party where I spot him and sparks fly. We share a milkshake in a diner and wrestle on the couch – and I spend a lot of the video singing to his photo which is placed at the edge of my mirror.”

“Little Bit Of First Kiss” is the uplifting first recorded step of Jayme Lynne’s and she’s ambitiously following the footsteps of the influences that have come before her, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, Maren Morris, Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood.

“The Taylor Swift song ‘Tim McGraw’ was my gateway into country music and I just love the three-chords-and-the-truth storytelling element of it,” Lynne explains of her chosen profession.

“I write a lot about love, the struggles I’ve been through, blessings, hope, daydreams, and having fun. I’m looking to strike

a chord in peoples’ hearts while showing my true self.”

Seasoned Canadian music journalist Nick Krewen, a former associate editor of Nashville-based Country Music, likes what he hears.

“Aside from her engaging voice,  there’s an unexpected lyrical twist in the song – where the word ‘sandwiches’ is substituted for the word ‘sentences’  – that hints at an unpredictability that will serve Jayme well as she moves forward,” he notes. “ “She’s definitely an artist to keep an eye on.”

The Keswick, ON-born singer and songwriter is busily preparing to record an EP later in the spring and presently arranging performance dates that will be announced in the near future.

Short-term goals include touring the festival circuit with her sights set on taking the stage at as Boots & Hearts, Cavendish Beach Music Festival, Dauphin’s Countryfest and Big Valley Jamboree.
