Westboro’s Fuse is a free summer Street Festival that takes over Richmond Road between McRae Ave and Roosevelt Ave for a weekend.  This year marked the 4th year of what we hope will be a long future as part of the Ottawa Festival season.

The festival is very much a family-friendly event with many activities aimed at younger ones such as a bouncy castle, obstacle course, roller disco, games, and  live entertainment at the various stages and busker pods. It is also one of the few city festivals that dogs on leash are welcome, allowing 4-legged family members to attend. The festival is presented by the Westboro Village BIA and is highly supported by the local businesses who participate in the day by setting up shops on the street, extending patios and often offering Fuse-festival specials.

For musical entertainment this year Westboro Fuse snapped up Canada’s own Odds to headline Saturday night and our photographer Darren was there to capture some of the excitement.

See you next year!
