Following a sell-out show at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, RBC Bluesfest organizers are pleased to announce country music superstar Luke Combs will perform at the iconic Ottawa festival on July 9, 2022.

Luke Combs, who The New York Times calls, “the most promising and influential new country star of the last five years,” is a multi-platinum, award-winning artist from Asheville, North Carolina.

Adding to an already monumental career, Combs is nominated in three categories at the 55th Annual CMA Awards in Nashville, TN: Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, and Song of the Year (“Forever After All”). With the platinum-certified “Forever After All,” Combs recently achieved his eleventh-consecutive #1 single—a first on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

“Being able to include Luke Combs for the 2022 event is a programming coup,” says the festival’s executive and artistic director Mark Monahan. “We’ve established a track record for booking some of the most popular touring acts available, and I believe bringing Luke Combs to Ottawa will definitely resonate with country music fans in the Ottawa Valley, in particular, and with music fans of all stripes, in general.”
