Heavy MTL is back for another year of head swinging breakdowns, mass circle pits, and metal horns in the sky. Headlining the 2019 event will be Slayer (which has been known for quite some time) and Ghost, who are at the top of their game currently and will headline their only North American festival date this summer.

A lineup poster for Heavy MTL 2019 has surfaced via a post on facebook by known headliners Slayer, which has since been deleted.

Slayer performs at Bud Gardens in London.

The big names don’t stop with the headliners, with the likes of Slash, Evanescence, Anthrax, Godsmack and Killswitch Engage. This year’s lineup has something for everyone, whether you are into thrash, hardcore, metalcore or hard rock.

English-American hard rock musician, Slash, performed a sold out show at Casino Rama in Toronto.

Rounding out the hardcore lineup, bands such as the legendary Hatebreed, Despised Icon, Knocked Loose and more. In the hard rock chapter, there is In This Moment, Skillet, Atreyu, and All That Remains. Or if you are in the mood for a throwback, how about Quiet Riot?

And even the bands in the small print, Canadian act Cancer Bats, high energy ragers Fever 333, even Star Wars themed Galactic Empire!
