Gatineau, July 13, 2023 – This summer, the internationally acclaimed artist NE-YO will be performing at not one, but two hot-air balloon festivals in Quebec! The two organizations are joining forces to give festival-goers the chance to enjoy a colourful evening with the artist, who will first stop off at the International Balloon Festival in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu on Saturday August 19th, before moving on to the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival (FMG) on Sunday September 3rd.
NE-YO promises a “caliente” evening surrounded by his musicians and dancers on the main stages of these two events. With over 20 million albums sold, NE-YO was an instant hit when his first single “So Sick” hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2005 and went quadruple platinum. Since then, he has racked up hits with “Sexy Love”, “Closer”, “Because of You”, “Miss Independant” and “Push Back”. His duets with Pitbull (Give Me Everything and Time Of Our Lives), Akon and David Guetta (Play Hard) and Céline Dion (Incredible) have gone on to become global mega-hits!
The R&B singer has proved he’s as powerful with his pen as he is in the studio or on stage, penning huge hits for big-name artists such as Rihanna’s “Unfaithful”, “Russian Roulette” and “Take a Bow” and Beyoncé’s “Irreplaceable”, as well as songs for Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Carrie Underwood, Bebe Rexha and Rick Ross.
