SunFest Day 2 saw the ideal festival weather with cloudy but sunny skies and moderate temperatures, a perfect back drop for another great Canadian line up.

We sat down with Danielle Marie for an acoustic exclusive and interview with her and her partner, both music and romantic, Jordan Pritchett before the two of them joined their band and hit the Saloon stage for the second time that day. Her clear and powerful voice lent itself to not only her own songs but also the covers she chose which spanned genres and styles. Keep an eye out for our interview and acoustic as well as contest to come from this Canadian duo.

The crowd king, Jojo Mason put on the most interactive set we’ve seen yet this weekend which included multiple selfies with fans and an impromptu cheer for the Braves hockey team as he sported their logo and had a jersey thrown on stage. Jojo wowed with songs like It’s all Good as well as the 90s throw back No Diggity by Blackstreet. Luckily we were able to capture his energy in an interview before he took the mainstage coming soon.

Emerson Drive kept that energy up with hit after hit. 23 years in the game have only mastered their ability to put on a show that carried the crowd right through to the end. They sped it up with their recent hit Just Got Paid and slowed it down with songs like Moment but always had a captive audience.

We knew from his sound check to expect a loud set from headliner Dallas Smith and he did not disappoint. Not only did the SunFest crowd enjoy his talent but we’re sure the neighbors did too. His unique voice was crystal clear and unfaultering for Wastin’ Gas and the festival perfect Cheap Seats. He gave the fans exactly what they wanted and when it came time for his encore he gave them 3 more.

The Day 2 Canadian lineup came out swinging and did not disappoint with their energy and crowd pleasing hits. Two down and two to go. Stay tuned for Day 3 it’s going to be a hot one.
