Tara Lyn Hart is a Canadian singer/songwriter who loves music almost as much as she loves being a mom!

Tara’s self-titled debut album was released on October 5, 1999.  The lead single, “Stuff That Matters,” soared up the Canadian Country Billboard Chart.  At the 2000 Juno Awards, Hart was nominated for Best Country Female Artist, and the all-genre Best New Solo Artist.  In April 2000, she was invited to perform on the Grand Ole Opry for the first time.

When the nominations were announced for the 2000 CCMA Awards, Hart had six nominations, the most for any artist.  At the 2001 Juno Awards, Hart was again nominated for Best Country Female Artist.  She also picked up a nomination for Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2001 CCMA Awards.

After a few years of recording and touring she realized that she wanted to stay home and focus on her growing family, so she relocated & started teaching voice lessons and musical theatre in Cobourg, Ontario.

“This will be a definite full circle moment.  Tara is one of the main reasons I started down the country music path many years ago.  Having her grace the Country Wild stage will be a very special moment for the hundreds of lives she has impacted throughout Northumberland County.”  Matt Williams, Entertainment Director
