The Spencerville Fair has been a staple in Eastern Ontario for 165 years. When COVID hit fairs and festivals around the world were forced to cancel their events for 2020 but the board of directors at the Spencerville Fair weren’t willing to give up that easily. The Spencerville Fair was always the one to lead the way. They were one of the first regional fairs in Eastern Ontario to bring big name live entertainment to their stage so it should come as no surprise that, once again, the fair will take the lead. This morning it was announced on Facebook that the 165th Edition of the Spencerville Fair will move forward, virtually.

During a time of change and uncertainty, we, The Spencerville Agricultural Society, would like to offer you some stability. We know the importance that our Spencerville Fair holds within our community. We also know the happiness that our fair brings to families, friends, and you. However, the safety, health, and well being of this community will always be our number one priority. That said, we knew we could not go a year without a fair, and so we’ve decided not to. This year, the 165th Spencerville Fair is going VIRTUAL and we could not be more excited.

Over the next coming weeks, we will be releasing more information, so pay close attention to our website and social media. To our community, we invite you to join us online for our first ever Virtual Fair, September 10-13. We invite you to come and join us in making history and keeping our fair alive. We, The Spencerville Agricultural Society, invite you to Come Home to Your Fair.

I can tell you that there is reason to be excited. What the Spencerville Fair is set to unveil has never been done before, and may never need to be done again. I invite you to stay tuned as I will share all of the information as soon as I can publicly do so.
