Last Friday night Brantley Gilbert brought his hard hittin’ country rock to the Tribute Communities Centre in Oshawa. Gilbert a Georgia native has been just killin’ it on his Fire’t Up Tour with openers Brandon Lay and Dylan Scott.

The first opener to go on was Brandon Lay. Lay quickly energized the crowd by performing a mix of original songs and classic rock. His performance kicked off the night and had everyone there ready to rock.

The second opener was Louisianan native Dylan Scott, Dylan brought the energy of a superstar to the stage. He interacted with the crowd masterfully while maintaining a high-class musical performance. Based on his on-stage confidence and pure musical ability Dylan Scott is someone I could see headlining his own tour very soon.

Finally, it was time for Brantley Gilbert to come out. Right away he let the crowd know the type of show it was going to be. He rose onto the stage sitting on a motorcycle while flames shot up behind him. The entire show proceeded with this rock energy as a row of flames continually shot up behind Gilbert and his band absolutely shredded every song.

He made the crowd feel alive and had every single person in the audience singing along. I don’t think anyone in that audience left without a smile from ear to ear.
