The stage went dark, the crowd went wild as the band walked onto the stage.  Then Miranda walked out in a classy short black dress with teal wings, cowboy boots and playing her guitar.  She started the show with “Fastest Girl In Town” A high energy Country Rock song to get this crowd dancing and singing and pumped up for fantastic evening.

You can see why she has been the Queen of Country Music for over a decade. She’s flawless. Her sweet country charm, southern drawl and her amazing voice pull you in.  Her lyrics are very personal and sung with great emotion.True life songs about drinking, escaping reality, her travels while touring, and moving on.  You know a great song when you feel the words and relate them to your own life.

Miranda was accompanied by her 8 piece band which included her “Bestie” Gwen Sebastian who co-wrote “Cadillac” with her and does the back-up vocals but also sang a solo song as well. Gwen’s voice and stage presence compliments Miranda sound and style.

Overall this was a fantastic and fun evening.  A wide range of songs from Country Rock/Pop to the Traditional Boot-Stomping Old Fashion Texas Honky-Tonk sounds.  She truly is to be admired for her grace and appreciation.  She has definitely opened the door of Country Music for more female artists to make their mark.  She is an truly an inspiration.
