2019 Country Music Association of Ontario nominee & 2018 Country Wild Emerging Artist Finalist Mackenzie Leigh Meyer joins the lineup for the 2019 Country Wild VIP kick-off party!
In May 2018, Mackenzie released her debut EP “Dive Bar Diva” featuring renowned producer Ken Scott (David Bowie). The country-tinged EP flaunts all of the diverse & dynamic sides that comprise Mackenzie. It soars through the many sub-genres of modern country music; ranging all the way from the vulnerable-americana “Your Company” to her confident, attitude-riddled-blues “Hope You’re Lonely”, and rounds off with her poignant emotional ballad, “More than a Memory”.
Songwriting garnered Meyer a final ballot nomination for “Roots Artist of the Year” at the upcoming 2019 CMA Ontario Awards & her captivating stage presence made her a 2018 Country Wild Emerging Artist Finalist.
