Lights is an award-winning Canadian musician, singer and songwriter with a die-hard fanbase who came out on a Monday night to see her show in Columbus Ohio.

It is stunning that the show even came to be considering Lights broke her foot 2 days earlier jumping off the stage at her show in Boston. Most would cancel and recuperate on crutches while sending out apologies on Twitter with sad-face emojis, but not Lights. Hell no, the show must go on!

She is one tough woman to put on an hour + show in spite of that injury. But she took it all in stride, moving about the stage with ease while occasionally kicking that foot out in defiance. She even decorated the brace with colorful stripes for fun! Amazing.

Lights released her latest album PEP a couple of weeks ago with the lead single “Prodigal Daughter” which she opened the show with. Her setlist was heavy with tunes from this new release – “Voices Carry”, “Real Thing”, “Beside Myself”,Okay, Okay” and “In My Head.” She also played hits “Ice”,”Up We Go” plus other songs from her catalog. She even challenged the crowd to see if they knew the words to these new songs and sure enough, some did!
