Just in time for Halloween, Boston Metalcore band Ice Nine Kills release’s the final cut of their 2018 album The Silver Scream.

If you are into horror movies and metalcore then Boston’s Ice Nine Kills is right up your alley. The band is releasing the final cut of their 2018 album ‘The Silver Scream’. The Album is inspired by classic horror films such as ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’, ‘Friday the 13th’, ‘Halloween’, ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’.

Unlike many other metalcore bands that seem to cram in as many heavy riffs or blast beats as possible with no real choruses,  Ice Nine Kills build their songs around thick melodic choruses, while bringing the heaviness into the mix quite appropriately. Songs like “The American Nightmare”, “Thank God it’s Friday”  and “Rocking the Boat”  are toe-tappingly catchy and will still have you banging your head.

The album features notable guest vocal performances from the likes of ‘Stranger Things’ Chelsea Tamridge and Sam Kubrick, grandson of Stanley Kubrick, who directed Stephen Kings The Shining. It also includes a thrilling cover song and a brand new number that pays homage to Wes Cravens 1996 slasher masterpiece ‘Scream’.

Along with the album, the band has created their own mini- horror series starring vocalist Spence Charnas, to correlate with each of the album’s singles. The album is being released today October 25th, 2019.
