The Bud Light Escapade Music Festival took over Landsdowne Park in Ottawa last weekend and brought Ottawa a much needed dose of EDM with a dash of hip hop thrown in for good measure.

Escapade has been a mainstay festival in Ottawa for 9 years running, but this year organizers had a few new tricks up their sleeves. They offered festival goers a choice between 5 stages including the Main Stage on the great lawn where the headliners entertained the largest crowds. The Bass, Temple of Trance, Underground, and Dreambox stages also attracted impressive crowds over the two days featuring artists such as Borgore, Getter, Party Favor, and hyperactive Zomboy to name a few. We were able to get a birds eye view from the stage with Tchami as the sun set over the grounds on Sunday night and it was picture perfect.

This year, along with the DJs, Escapade brought in some heavy hip hop hitters to mix it up a little. LA born and bred Ty Dolla $ign was the draw of the evening on Saturday. This renowned artist has collaborated with greats such as Kanye, Christina Aguilera, and Beyoncé to name a few. He had the crowd signing along and invited four fans up on stage with him to share in the festivities (the one in his left hand in this photo).

As for the fashion, if you’re at all prudish you should just stay home or find something else to do because this is just not for you. We will let the photos do the rest of the speaking for us.
