After three solid days of entertainment it was time for the Grey Cup Festival to come to an end, well for us anyway. Today all eyes turn to the Stadium at TD Place where First Downs and Touchdowns will be the topic of discussion as the Toronto Argonauts and the Calgary Stampeders face off for the right to be called Grey Cup Champions for 2017.

After months of preparation and anticipation the Grey Cup Festival has finally arrived in Ottawa. The Grey Cup itself will make its arrival in the city tomorrow and the main events will kick off starting Thursday. Impact Wrestling is a Canadian professional wrestling promotion based in Toronto. Impact is viewed as the second-largest professional wrestling promotion in the United States after WWE. Catching a live Impact Wrestling event is sure to entertain everyone as it did last night in Ottawa. From bright lights to dramatic musical entrances and colorful costumes, the young and the young at heart were kept on the edge of their seats throughout the bouts.

Catching a World Wrestling Entertainment live event is sort of unlike any other type of live event in the world. Between dramatic entrances, sometimes scary masks, blaring music, colourful costumes, and unbelievable athleticism right in front of your eyes, professional wrestling can sort of sweep you up in it’s very unique universal of branded entertainment. And when the WWE comes to town specifically, it’s above and beyond any other form of pro wrestling in terms of production value and energy. I was lucky enough to witness this firsthand on Monday night, when the WWE Summerslam Heatwave Tour invaded Kingston’s K-Rock Centre.
