Austin-based, Toronto-born Black Pistol Fire performed a fiery guitar-driven set at the A&R Music Bar in Columbus, Ohio on Tuesday night. The band consists of just 2 guys – Kevin McKeown (guitar/lead vocals) and Eric Owen (drums) who create the power and fury of a full band live. Their sound is a mix of classic Southern rock, punk rock and blues.

The band was recently nominated for break-through group of the year and rock album of the year (Look Alive) at the 2022 Juno Awards. Glad to see recognition for a band that has been together over a decade with 6 solid studio albums under their belts.

The Columbus, Ohio concert concluded the US tour dates and tonight they kick off the Canadian leg in London, Ontario at Rum Runners followed by a show at The Opera House Toronto on Friday, and in Ottawa at the Bronson Centre on Saturday night. Monday they perform at the Theater Fairmont in Montreal.

You can also catch them on Friday July 22nd at the Squamish Constellation Festival at Hendrickson Field in Squamish, British Columbia. Details on this festival can be found HERE.
