Last month a little gem nestled in the heart of Burnstown Ontario at Neat Coffee Shop brought us an up close and intimate performance by the Birds Of Bellwoods.

April 20, 2018 this four man band from Toronto, who have been compared to Mumford and sons, wowed the audience with their alternative, folk and pop sounds. Birds On Bellwoods have been busy touring around Canada and the United States. Their more recent venues were Boots and Heart’s and the CBC Music Festival just to name a few.

When watching their show no one can really say who the front man is as they all performed in a row center stage. Each member showcased their musical talents through their instruments like the stand up bass, mandolin and banjo. Lead vocals and harmonies were strong, in sync and captivating. Performing some cover songs like Feel it Still by Portugal The Man and an original song which the crowd was familiar with speaks volumes about their fan base ranging from all ages for a band that’s only been around for about five years. There was never a lull in their performance. They kept the crowd singing, talking and after their first set they even had the first two rows of chairs cleared to create a dance floor.

Check them out for yourself, you won’t be disappointed http://www.birdsofbellwoods.com/
