Ottawa’s Spectrasonic is bringing a bunch of amazing shows to Ottawa this July, and the list is more than worth checking out!

For those who are ready to move into indoor shows from the RBC Ottawa Bluesfest and the scorching heat, Ottawa’s own Lions Leading Sheep are hosting their debut album release party at The 27 Club on July 13th with Revenant and Fast Asleep.

The American metal supergroup Act of Defiance formed by guitarist Chris Broderick and drummer Shawn Drover of Megadeth are hitting the stage at The Brass Monkey on July 16th. Opening the night are Ottawa’s own Signs of Chaos.

One of July’s most hyped shows is the award winning writer, musician, performance artist and activist for LGBT rights and animal welfare, OTEP, who are performing with the Dropout Kings and Ooluu on July 18th at The Brass Monkey.

Long Beach’s jazzy pop ensemble Bane’s World and Inglewood’s Inner Wave along with the opener Michael Seyer are playing at The 27 Club on July 25th.

 

Toronto’s MIMICO are finishing a spectacular month of music in Ottawa, performing at Makerspace North with Zones and No Ya.
