After a busy summer of playing festivals that included Lollapalooza and All Things Go, and coming off back to back sold out shows in Boston, MUNA brought their Gets So Hot tour to Columbus, Ohio with a stop at Kemba Live! on October 4th, 2026.
They kicked off the night in the most fitting way possible by starting the set with “It Gets So Hot.” Dancing On the Wall lived up to its name as I’m pretty sure everyone in the venue couldn’t stop grooving when that song hit.
The group who is comprised of Katie Gavin, Josette Maskin, and Naomi McPherson continued to bring that energy, good vibes, dancing, and the feeling of inclusion for all as they rocked through the MUNA catalog.
Fans I spoke with in the crowd were excited to hear a mix of the new hits and old favorites but also ready to dance their troubles away in a space where they felt accepted and safe to do so.
They were also happy to welcome Naomi McPherson back to the stage with loving arms, sympathy and thoughts of love and healing after the passing of their mother, who lost a battle with cancer earlier this fall.
