Killswitch Engage Unleash Their Demons At The Roseland

Melodic metalcore pioneers Killswitch Engage absolutely obliterated the Roseland Theater in Portland Oregon during a Sold Out show on Monday night.

The audience was absolutely in the mood to rock out hard and this show satiated their appetite for loud aggressive metal starting with the opening support band Judiciary. To ever call Judiciary a “warm up” act would be insulting as they turned up the heat from the moment GO and didn’t let up the entire set! It was fire and the fans ate it up and begged for more.

Progressive death metal Rivers Of Nihil hit the stage next and kept the dizzying pace going. All hell broke lose when Patrick Corona jumped onto the stage and joined in blasting his alto sax – the fans were loving every minute of it!

Up next was Thrash metal giants Machine Head out of Oakland California and they did not disappoint. With 11 studio albums under their belt they had plenty of material to choose from. They closed their set with fan favorite “Davidian” from their 1994 debut album Burn My Eyes.

Last but certainly not least, headliner Killswitch Engage hit the stage and the fans pushed forward as the mosh pit intensified and expanded. Their 2026 North American headlining tour, which wrapped up in Seattle following this stop in Portland, was in support of their ninth studio album, This Consequence from which they drew heavily from during their set.
