Matt Bazinet

Opening the night was fellow Canadian from Kingston Ontario Matt Bazinet. Matt brings his solo folk show to the early growing crowd at the Hard Rock, bearing his soul into the emotions he showcases with his singing and guitar playing Matt puts a lot of thought and authenticity into his performance. His heartfelt lyrics and beautiful acoustic melodies had the audience mesmerized with each note played.
Brother Elsey

Up next is Detroit Indie Rock band Brother Elsey. Brother Elsey are indeed real life brothers, Beau, Brady and Jack along side drummer Dalton. Brother Elsey came into this show to do one thing and one thing only and that was to rock out and did they ever. These guys come out with a burst of energy and dive right into rocking out, creating an exciting atmosphere for the audience which had them on their feet dancing and cheering. Taking a moment to appreciate their success and where they are lead vocalist Brady tells their story from how they grew up to where they are now and dedicating songs to their parents who who in the audience, it was a real and touching moment that had the crowd let out big cheers not only for the band but also for their parents. Brother Elsey were just incredible and really set the tone for the rest of the evening, having one fired up audience it was time for the main event.
The Fray

The moment everyone at the Hard Rock was waiting for! As the Fray launched into their set opening with the self title song off their new album “A Light That Waits”. The band brings so much excitement and joy that has everyone up and off their feet. A few songs in The Fray began to sing their iconic song “over My Head (Cable Car) which the crowd erupted in loud cheers and excitement. This was probably one of the loudest sing lots I have ever heard at a concert, the love and happiness that the crowd was giving back lead singer Isaac couldn’t help but to stop singing and listen to the audience sing so loud back.
Being a band for 20 years they played some new songs and a lot old songs to help celebrate the long, amazing career. It was truly an amazing show, the high energy, non stop bangers one after another really elevated the atmosphere all night. It was a night of nostalgia, along with new songs that showcases the bands growth and creativity allowing the audience to reminisce about cherished memories while embracing new melodies that hinted at exciting direction for the band.
