OTTAWA, ON (March 23, 2026) – Today, the capital’s highly anticipated new music venue, HISTORY Ottawa, unveils its first slate of shows, with more talent announcements to follow in the coming weeks and months. Bringing world-class performances to fans, the 2026 lineup will feature a dynamic mix of Canadian and international talent, including The Pretty Reckless, Sabaton, Two Door Cinema Club, TALK and more.

HISTORY Ottawa will officially open its doors this August, becoming the newest hub for live music and entertainment in the ByWard Market. The venue is an expansion of the iconic Toronto location, which first opened in 2021 in collaboration with global music icon Drake.

Tickets for all shows will be available via general onsale on Friday, March 27 at 10am local at www.ticketmaster.ca.

Bronwyn Campbell has been named General Manager of the new 2,000 capacity venue. She joins the HISTORY team from the iconic Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, where she served as general manager for 11 years, overseeing all operations of concerts and special events. With 18 years in venue management, Campbell will lend her expertise to the development of HISTORY Ottawa’s culture and fan experience.

“I’m thrilled to be leading the HISTORY Ottawa team,” says Campbell. “Bringing this venue to life is an exciting opportunity, and I look forward to building a team that cares deeply about creating a space that both fans and artists love coming back to. Ottawa is known to have some of the most passionate music fans in the country, and we can’t wait to welcome them and make HISTORY feel like home – building on everything that’s made our Toronto venue so special.”

Rob Feller joins the team as Senior Operations Manager – overseeing venue operations. No stranger to the nation’s capital, Feller spent his formative teenage years in Ottawa attending shows across the city. Feller also comes from the Commodore Ballroom, where he managed the Box Office and led the venue’s premium services team. Feller brings more than 12 years of experience in the live music industry.

Ali Shafaee, who leads Live Nation’s Ottawa office, continues to help oversee the project, alongside Alex Primeau who will be supporting programming efforts. Together, the Ottawa locals bring a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted understanding of the local market. HISTORY will also host job fairs for local hires in the coming months.

The venue located at 47 Rideau Street will feature state-of-the-art sound and lighting, alongside HISTORY’s signature, high-end hospitality, hosting a dynamic range of events – from concerts, live entertainment and galas to community programs and special events. Drawing hundreds of thousands of residents and visitors to the downtown core, the venue is poised to play a major role in revitalizing Ottawa’s entertainment district while driving meaningful economic impact.
