The much anticipated lineup for the 2020 edition of RBC Bluesfest arrived just after midnight this morning. Major additions include Alanis Morrisette, Blink-182, Billy Talent, Boyz II Men, Garbage, Blue Rodeo, Travis Tritt and more!

July 9: Atlanta rapper 6LACK, trans singer Ezra Furman, Polaris champ Jeremy Dutcher, Toronto’s Charlotte Day Wilson, singer-songwriter Leif Vollebeck and reggae artist Protoje. An additional headliner is expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

July 10: Daniel Caesar steps up to the headlining slot, with other performances by Toronto’s Ali Gatie, New Pornographers and Talking Heads co-founder Jerry Harrison and former touring guitarist Adrian Belew, who will be joined by Turkuaz to mark the 40th anniversary of the Heads’ album, Remain in Light.

July 11: Australian pop star Dean Lewis, the Be Alright singer, closes out the first Saturday night, with earlier appearances by King Crimson, indie rockers July Talk, bluesy Brit rocker Barns Courtney and more.

July 12: Morissette comes home, accompanied by two of her tour openers, Garbage and Joan Osborne, along with separate shows by Dashboard Confessional, The Cinematic Orchestra and many more.

July 14: The festival takes a break on July 13 before resuming with a main-stage lineup that includes Jack Johnson, Vance Joy and Jade Bird, as well as Montreal’s Patrick Watson and Sharon Van Etten on other stages.

July 15: It’s pop-punk night with Blink-182, Billy Talent and Grandson, plus the psychedelic multi-instrumentalism of Australia’s Tash Sultana.

July 16: Digital mega-star Marshmello is on the main stage, with rapper Lil Tecca, indie folk-rocker Cat Power and DJ Shadow also performing.

July 17: Rage Against The Machine storms the main stage.

July 18: The final Saturday is a hip hop-throwback night, with Boyz II Men, Nelly, Deltron 3030 and Arrested Development on the main stage, while the Saints and Sinners tour rocks the Vidéotron stage.

July 19: The festival wraps up with a main-stage nod to country music, featuring Blue Rodeo, Travis Tritt and Jessica Mitchell. Wishbone Ash, Marco Benevento and Ocean Alley are among the side-stage performers.
