I had a chance to sit down with Victoria Banks last year in the lobby of the hotel during the CMAO’s and we had an amazing chat. Then I lost the memory card that had 6 interviews on it and well, I never got to publish that interview. I can tell you she is one hell of an amazing singer / songwriter and was a pleasure to chat with.
I always find Victoria writes songs that mean something and touch on strong subject matter that some artists shy away from (not every song but some). She writes with Erik Dylan quite a bit and their song Color Blind was just what this world needed to hear at the time. It didn’t have huge commercial success but for those that listened were fans after the first listen.
