As the sun started to set, the black curtain was pulled down and the boys were back, less than 2 years away from their last Bluesfest, Boston’s Dropkick Murphys hit the stage. They brought a whole lot of energy, just guessing, but the next few days may not have the same energy or security at the front of the stage for that matter.

The next couple of acts getting CityFolk started where some local talents The Acorn and The Rambling Valley Band. The new BMO stage got started with Kingston band Lost Cousin.  What a great stage, very reminiscent of the Barney Danson Room at the War Museum. A black curtain area in the Aberdeen Pavilion separates the concerts from everything around them, including a great set up get your craft beer card loaded up and try a bunch of local brews (Dominion City, Brewery, Waller Street , Beau’s and a bunch of others.)  A very cool set up,  it will get some serious use if we get that rain on the weekend.
