The Washboard Union thrills capacity crowd at Cook County Saloon for CISN 103.9

The Washboard Union played to yet another capacity crowd in Alberta … this time it was an invite only exclusive event at Cook County Saloon in Edmonton organized by local country radio station CISN 103.9.

People started lining up outside before 6pm for the doors at 7 and the set starting at 8:30.  The crowd was absolutely OFF. THE. HOOK. with fun and excitement … you could see the band feed off the energy! They all took their turns climbing things … Aaron even went and took a stroll with his guitar through the venue and had to resort to climbing onto the merchandise table to get back onto the stage!

 

As has been par for the course, the guys took time after the show to head over to the merchandise table to take time to meet their fans, sign some autographs, and get photos taken in front of their big backdrop – regardless of whether you purchased anything.  Despite the 90 minute plus the encore, believe it or not the meet and greet lasted LONGER!  You could tell they were tired but that didn’t stop them from smiling, hugging and doing their best to get to know a little something about everyone with what little time they had.
