The performance displayed a procession of costumes from the NAC’s past and featured some of the bright up and coming artists of its future. The audience was mesmerized by the National Ballet of Canada’s principal dancer, Greta Hodgkinson, director and action Mani Soleymanlou and Indigenous artist iskwē. The second half of the evening was a true highlight with Sarah McLachlan performing an intimate set of some of her most beloved and popular songs.
