102.1 The Edge is notorious for presenting alluring and rumor sparking shows called “The Edge Secret Thing” series. With past years artists including Royal Blood and Lumineers, the crowd full of music-lovers was ecstatic and giddy leading up to the big reveal.

AWOLNATION burst onto the stage of Lee’s Palace, and the venue came to life. The grunge of the venue was the perfect backdrop for the hippie-dippy band that played a balance of electronica-esque mixed with rock n’ roll sounds.

A toe-tapping, inside shaking music with a funky flare that had everyone moving and grooving to the music. A serious bad-ass sound full of spunk, passion, and synth.
The lead singer, Aaron utilized the stage to give the intimate crowd a performance that won’t be soon forgotten. From interacting with individuals in the crowd, jumping around his stage, throwing flowers to some lucky ladies and bringing an 80’s vibe by encouraging attendees to take out their lighters.
102.1 The Edge lucky fans were vibing to this electrifying set by the band and by the end of the night the crowd was jumping to the music and singing along. Even a few mosh pits erupted on the dance floor!

AWOLNATION was made famous for their hit “Sail” in 2011, is an alternative rock band formed and fronted by Aaron Bruno, hailing from Los Angeles.
The concept of bringing a big band into a small space creates an inclusive and intimate fan experience like no other. Tickets are not available for purchases as it is a Win to Attend type of show.
