What’s left for the rest of the 2022/23 season?

2023 is a year to look forward to on stage at Shenkman Arts Centre.
Get ready to be propelled in to a season of music, storytelling and family entertainment.

“Moving into the new year, I am excited to see Shenkman Arts Centre filled with an array of entertainment,” says Jahn Fawcett, Portfolio Manager, Shenkman Arts Centre. “I look forward to seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces and hearing the sounds of an excited audience.”

Children’s favourite, Jeremy Fisher starts the year on January 28 delighting kids and parents alike, with his unique concert. Continuing family entertainment Fete Frissons is back with fun programming set make everyone feel warm vibes this winter on February 11.

On March 4, Adrian Sutherland, best known as part of rock band Midnight Shine, brings his solo tour to the stage. Just days later on March 11, Great Big Sea co-founder Séan McCann , takes the stage with his songs from The Great Big Song Book.

Get ready to party like the Irish and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the Irish Rovers on March 17.

On March 28 be prepared to go on a journey of historical storytelling as the concert, TREATY: A Reconciliation Revelry, provides audiences with historical context for understanding Indigenous experiences and Indigenous realities today through use of video, narrative and popular music.

Join us for An International Roots ‘n’ Blues Kitchen Party to round off the season on April 18 as Canadians Suzie Vinnick and Charlie A’Court, and Australian Lloyd Spiegel, take the stage bringing a dynamic evening filled with songs, stories and laughs as they take their roots ‘n’ blues kitchen party from coast-to-coast.

Tickets are on sale now for Front + Centre members. A public pre-sale will take place on September 28. A password will be shared via email and social media platforms. All tickets on-sale to the public on September 29.
