The night was pretty hot as temperatures pushed into the upper 80’s but this did not seem to phase the many fans, sipping cold drinks and having animated conversations, as others hastily sought out shaded areas of the lawn to view the concert on blankets or chairs.

Melissa opened the show with “Ain’t It Heavy” and continued to belt out all of her most popular songs, including “No Souvenirs,” a fantastic mash-up of “I Want To Come Over” and Chappell Roan’s “Red Wine Supernova,” “Nowhere To Go,” “Yes I Am,” a rousing rendition of Albert King’s “Born Under A Bad Sign,” ”Come To My Window,” “Bring Me Some Water” and ”I’m The Only One.”

It was a great night to listen to music outside from these two stellar acts. As a matter of fact, you could say with much certainty, that this show was the gayest place to be in Oregon at that particular moment in time…..and we were here for it!
