Saint-Agapit, November 28, 2023 – Festival Country Lotbinière announces the addition of acclaimed American country artist Lee Brice to their 2024 lineup! This major announcement marks the first appearance in Quebec for the platinum-certified singer-songwriter, who has received numerous awards throughout his outstanding career.

Building on the recent announcement of Riley Green as a headliner just two weeks ago, the festival organizers are wasting no time in sharing yet another big piece of news! The 9th edition of the FCL is shaping up to be one of the biggest yet, with already featuring two prominent American artists with international renown.

Brice‘s presence is eagerly anticipated in Quebec, especially since the South Carolina native had previously announced around ten Canadian tour dates earlier this year without making a stop in Quebec. Country music fans will finally have the opportunity to see Lee Brice on Friday, August 23, 2024, while Riley Green will take the stage the following day to close the festival. The rest of the lineup will be revealed in the winter of 2024.

When Curb Records recording artist, Lee Brice, isn’t selling arenas, writting or recording songs, or building new brands like American Born whiskey, he embraces his most important role: that of being a father. A multi-award-winning and nominated artist, Lee Brice stands as a pivotal figure, successfully combining commercial success and artistic recognition while staying true to the authentic essence of country music.

In 2021, a historic moment was etched in his career with the song One Of Them Girls, becoming the first country song to win the Song of the Year distinction at the three major American industry galas (ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC) in the same year. A major achievement that attests to his significant impact on the country music scene. With over 6.1 billion streams throughout his musical career, Brice maintains remarkable success on country radio and digital streaming platforms. His latest album, Hey World, released in 2020, achieved platinum certification and includes the radio single Save the Roses, which has accumulated 19 million streams to date.

“For the first time in its history, the festival will host an artist who has sold over 30 million units in his career (33 RIAA). Lee Brice ranks among artists like Dierks Bentley (32.5), Keith Urban (37.5), Kane Brown (29.5), and Zac Brown Band (29.5) to give you an idea of the artist’s notoriety. It’s a huge catch for the FCL! He’s a regular participant at major galas such as the CMA, ACM, and even the Grammys, with more than fifteen nominations. Beyond the numbers, Lee Brice is an outstanding entertainer with an authentic voice. He knows how to captivate a crowd with many guitar solos, reminiscent of Brad Paisley! Without a doubt, his performance next August at the FCL is not to be missed! »  – Guillaume Laflamme, Festival Country Lotbinière co-founder”
