Southern California hard rock band Joyous Wolf, supporting Dorothy on the Gifts From The Holy Ghost Tour, played a high energy set at The Bluestone in Columbus, Ohio on Sunday night.

Joyous Wolf definitely brought a revival to this century old events space that used to be a Baptist church – a revival of good ol’ rowdy rock and roll! The band was formed in 2014 by Nick Reese (vocals), Blake Allard (guitar), Greg Braccio (bass), and Robert Sodaro (drums). They combine elements of post-grunge metal and blues into their modern rock sound – it’s real and it’s raw and best experienced live.

Frontman Nick Rees is a man possessed! During the show, he engaged in plenty of acrobatics, at one point doing a back flip, and later, jumping off the stage into the crowd. They put on a hell of a show!
