Ukranian metal masters Jinjer roared into The Roxian Theatre Saturday night in Pittsburgh, PA on their USA Tour 2022.

The current members of Jinjer are Tatiana Shmailyuk (vocals), Roman Ibramkhalilov (lead guitar), Eugene Abdukhanov (bass) and Vladislav Ulasevich (drums). In addition to putting on mesmerizing and explosive metal shows, the band is touring as ambassadors of Ukraine with permission from the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture. In doing so, they are able to bring awareness and support for relief efforts in their country.
Anticipation was high for the audience as the crowd packed into the venue. Merch sales were brisk not only for Jinjer but also the 3 support bands, especially after their respective sets – P.O.D., Vended (featuring sons of Slipknot’s Corey Taylor and Clown) and Space Of Variations.

Jinjer opened their 15 song set with “Sit Stay Roll Over” from the album Alive In Melbourne, followed by “Teacher, Teacher”, “CopyCat” and “Home Back” before diving into the massive “I Speak Astronomy.” The crowd tightened up to get closer and they were really getting into the show hard at this point. Other highlights included “Vortex”, “Perennial” and all-time favorite “Pieces” before the band closed out the night by launching into “Captain Clock.”
Jinjer is just a must-see anytime they go on tour for the sheer power and talent they display onstage. Don’t sleep on tix for the dates below if you are anywhere near these venues. Make the effort – you will not be disappointed!
