JD Fortune’s performance at Century Casino last night felt less like a concert and more like a collective time machine. It’s rare to see a crowd so unified in purpose, but judging by the packed floor, nearly everyone in the room was there trying to relive their 20s and 30s – and judging by the smiles, mission accomplished.

From the opening punch of “Suicide Blonde,” the crowd was locked in, singing along as if the song had never left their playlists. “New Sensation” and “Devil’s Party” followed with swagger, instantly shaking loose any remaining inhibitions. Drinks were raised, shoulders loosened, and the floor began to feel more like a reunion than a venue.

The tempo dipped smoothly into “Beautiful Girl” and “Afterglow,” giving the room space to breathe while keeping the nostalgia flowing. “Listen Like Thieves” turned into a full-room singalong, with voices rising well above polite concert volume. “By My Side” and “Disappear” carried a softer emotional weight, while “Mystify” landed with effortless confidence, one of the night’s most polished moments.

Energy surged again with “Need You Tonight,” instantly transforming the floor into a moving, dancing mass — the kind of scene where nobody cared who was watching. Fortune leaned into the room during “Open a Beer / Million Ways,” a pairing that felt tailor-made for a casino crowd fully embracing the night. “Devil Inside” brought the grit back in force, followed by a sharp run through “What You Need.”

By the time “Pretty Vegas” and “Never Tear Us Apart” rolled around, the room was completely unified – arms around shoulders, voices cracked, eyes closed. Closing the main set with “Don’t Change,” Fortune left the crowd exactly where they wanted to be: suspended between then and now.

The encore sealed it. “Sympathy for the Devil” delivered swagger, attitude, and a final release of energy that sent fans out buzzing – some hoarse, some sweaty, all satisfied.

In the intimate setting of Century Casino, JD Fortune didn’t just perform a setlist – he gave a room full of people permission to feel young again for a couple of hours. And judging by the reaction, it was exactly what they came for.
