On Thursday, July 31st, Randy Houser returned to Ontario with a high-energy performance at the OLG Stage in Niagara Falls. It had been over a year since his last show in the province, and fans showed up in full force—rowdy and ready from the very first song.

Houser kicked off the night with “Boots On,” a personal favorite and the track that first introduced many fans to his music over 17 years ago. The song’s iconic music video, featuring a young boy strumming a toy guitar in the backseat while Randy fuels up at a gas station, remains a fan favorite to this day.

🎶 Covers That Hit Home

Midway through the set, Randy performed two standout covers. The first was “Troubadour” by George Strait, which he had recently played in Texas to help raise funds for flood victims. Before launching into it, he asked the crowd, “Y’all wanna hear a little bit of the King?”—and the audience roared in approval.

Later, he surprised fans with Alan Jackson’s “Chattahoochee.” From the very first note, the entire venue was on its feet, singing and dancing along with infectious energy.

🙌 Gratitude and Good Vibes

Having seen Randy Houser perform around a dozen times, this show stood out as one of his most humble and heartfelt. He thanked the crowd multiple times for choosing his concert over other summer events, expressing genuine appreciation for their support.

He also praised the venue, calling the sound “perfect” and the setup “top notch.” With a laugh, he said he’d gladly return anytime they’d have his “big old dumb ass”—even joking that he’d be the house band if they’d let him.

🎤 A Powerful Finish

Houser closed his set with his biggest hit, “Like A Cowboy,” leaving the stage to thunderous applause. But the crowd wasn’t ready to say goodbye. Chants of “RANDY! RANDY!” echoed through the venue until he returned for an encore, performing “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight.”
