Rapping sensation A Boogie wit da Hoodie landed in Ottawa on Friday night on the last stop on the Canadian leg of his Me vs. Myself tour.

On Saturday, June 24th, the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa witnessed a thrilling night of music as A Boogie with da Hoodie brought his Me vs. Myself Tour to its grand finale. Despite a slightly delayed start and rowdy crowds at the barricade, the energy and talent on display made it a concert to remember. The venue was just about full to capacity as opening act Mariah the Scientist set the mood with her soulful R&B tunes, captivating the predominantly youthful crowd. Kicking off the night, she delivered an enchanting performance that perfectly complemented the atmosphere. Dressed in a form-fitting outfit, she exuded confidence and grace. Her mellow R&B vibe washed over the audience, calming the rowdy crowd comprised mostly of young fans. Mariah’s connection with her supporters was evident as she waved and interacted with fans in the front rows. The boys in the audience couldn’t help but express their adoration, shouting declarations of love that caused her to grin.

After a short intermission A Boogie with da Hoodie, or just A Boogie, nonchalantly walked onto the stage. His entrance ignited an explosive reaction from the audience, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. As a seasoned performer who has performed at renowned events like Lollapalooza and Rolling Loud, and collaborated with notable artists such as Kodak Black and Tory Lanez, his presence was electrifying. The crowd’s energy surged, enhanced by the periodic bursts of smoke canons that added a visual spectacle to the performance.

Security personnel were kept busy at the front, ensuring the safety of mostly young girls caught up in the frenzy. Despite this, the spirit of the concert remained unyielding, driven by the artist’s infectious energy. Throughout the performance, A Boogie paced back and forth on stage, engaging fans from side to side. His command over the audience was palpable, as he effortlessly delivered hit after hit, leaving no doubt as to why he is a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. The Me vs. Myself Tour’s final stop in Ottawa proved to be a fitting climax, leaving his young adoring fans  young crowd in awe of A Boogie’s talent and stage presence.
