Rock band Highly Suspect performed at Kemba Live! in Columbus, Ohio last night on their headlining Fall US tour in support of their 4th full-length album The Midnight Demon Club, which was released last month.

Highly Suspect performs at Kemba Live! in Columbus, Ohio on 10.26.22

The band from Cape Cod, Massachusetts features Johnny Stevens (guitar, lead vocals), Rich Meyer (bass, vocals) and Ryan Meyer (drums, vocals), and Matt Kofos (guitar, synthesizer, vocals). These guys have had quite successful run starting in 2015 when they released their first album Mister Asylum which was nominated for best Rock Album at the 2016 Grammy Awards. A single from that album, “Lydia” was nominated for Best Rock Song. The Boy Who Died Wolf album was released next in 2016 and featured “My Name Is Human” which hit #1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Chart. The video for that song is simply incredible! Check it out HERE. The album MCID (which stands for My Crew Is Dope) was released in 2019. The newest release, The Midnight Demon Club, has already produced the #1 hit “Natural Born Killer.”

Frontman Johnny Stevens made sure the audience in Columbus, Ohio knew that fact as he stopped the band part way into “NBK”  to say so. The crowd went crazy in affirmation as the band lauched back into the song (after opening the show with “The Sound”) and this set the tone for the rest of the show. More tunes off of The Midnight Demon Club were featured including  “Ice Cold”, “New California”, “Wild Eyed Son” and “Pink Lullabye” (which closed the show). Great concert and quite a packed venue for a Wednesday night!
