Organizers of Country On The Bay have not only been navigating through the challenges of planning a festival during a pandemic, but have also had to find a new home for the inaugural event. Originally, the 2020 Country On The Bay festival was scheduled to drop anchor at Marina Park.  Recent challenges with the original location presented logistical concerns. “We started out looking for a new location to host our event, and found a place we could call home,” says Rob Waloschuk, General Manager of Dauphin’s Countryfest and Co-Promoter of COUNTRY ON THE BAY.

Country On The Bay will now take place at Fort William Historical Park in Thunder Bay, Ontario on July 22-24, 2022. “The first tour of the site exceeded all our expectations”, says Waloschuk. “In all my years of promoting shows and festivals around the country, I have never seen such a beautiful and well-developed facility. The natural grass amphitheatre provides everyone with the best view.”

“It’s a blessing in disguise,” says David Allen, Co-Promoter.  “The move will provide a safer and more comfortable experience for festival goers, and also allows our event to grow and bring more artists to Thunder Bay in the future.”

Along with the move, Country On The Bay announces its recently expanded line up:
