Chad Brownlee literally lept out on stage at exactly 10pm to get the set (and crowd) going!

The crowds started showing up early at the Nashville North stage on the Stampede grounds to see Chad Brownlee … and in large numbers.

He alternated between standing in front of the mic with his guitar and taking full advantage of his wireless mic when guitar duties were relegated to his band.

He not only leaned over for some high 5s but also bent down for some selfies, by actually taking the phone from the fan to take the picture for them. There were also a lot of signatures, which really kept security on their toes with fans trying to get as close as possible for the opportunity, mostly by sitting on shoulders and trying to lean over. Unfortunately for the fans, security was on their game and that ploy didn’t end up working for anyone!

He made sure to get the crowd to help and sing along to a few songs … even did some practice runs goofing around with the crowd before getting started to make sure they “brought their vocal chords” and were all prepped on the lines.

His encore started with a medley of covers – which in itself isn’t unusual – but what stood out was that he took that time to let the band stay backstage and played a solo acoustic set – something that rarely seen at the end of a set, let alone the encore!
