The Cavendish Beach Music Festival, presented by Bell, is thrilled to announce multi-Platinum country stars Darius Rucker and Cole Swindell have been added as headliners to Atlantic Canada’s largest multi-day outdoor music festival.

The festival will kick off with previously announced headliner Luke Combs on Thursday, July 7th, followed by Darius Rucker on Friday, July 8th, and Cole Swindell on Saturday, July 9th, 2022. Additional performers will be announced leading up to the festival.

“We are so excited to have Darius Rucker and Cole Swindell in Cavendish for the first time as we welcome back our fans who have already bought the tickets in record time, leaving a limited number of tickets available for the Friday and Saturday shows,” said Ben Murphy, CEO of Whitecap Entertainment. “The excitement has been building ever since our first announcement and we expect that to continue all the way through to July.”

Darius Rucker is originally known as lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the GRAMMY Award-winning band Hootie & the Blowfish, who have sold more than 25 million albums worldwide. Since releasing his first solo country album in 2008, Darius has earned even more attention from fans with four No. 1 albums on the Billboard Country chart, plus ten No. 1 singles at Country radio. In 2014, he also won his third GRAMMY Award for Best Solo Country Performance with his 9x Platinum version of Old Crow Medicine Show’s “Wagon Wheel,” one of the top five best-selling Country songs of all time. Darius recently co-hosted the 54th annual CMA Awards and topped the charts at Country radio once again with “Beers and Sunshine”. His latest single, “My Masterpiece” is available now, and Darius is putting the finishing touches on a new album.

Also announced, Grammy-award nominated Cole Swindell has been on the rise since releasing his debut seven years ago. He has racked up an impressive 4 billion career song streams including 10 No. 1 singles, 11 No. 1 singles as a songwriter, nine Platinum singles, a Platinum-certified debut album (Cole Swindell), and a Gold-certified sophomore album (You Should Be Here). Cole has played on some of the biggest stages in the world and made history the first-ever live radio and TV broadcast from the 57th-floor terrace of 4 World Trade Center, where he performed his hit “You Should Be Here”. Cole has toured with some of the biggest superstars in country music including Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley and officially became a headliner on his own Reason to Drink Tours in 2018.
