When Black Label Society’s show in Sault, Ste. Marie, Michigan was cancelled, the venue King Of Clubs in Columbus, Ohio swooped in to negotiate a show with only 15 days till the concert – it sold out in 13 days. Columbus BLS fans who snatched up the tickets for the November 13th show welcomed Zakk Wylde and crew along with openers Obituary and Prong for a wild night of metal mayhem! The Ace Of Cups had a full house with Baroness fans ready for some heavy metal heat from and they definitely got their fill! But Baroness is more than just a metal band as they are known for their experimentation as well as their incredibly beautiful album art created by frontman and founding member John Baizley. Their merch table, with all of the albums on display, is an experience in itself!

Judas Priest’s “50 Heavy Metal Years” Celebration
Last Friday night at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown, Ohio was THE place to be for all heavy metal fans, old and young, looking for loud, top notch entertainment.
As Judas Priest’s symbol, glowing in red lights, was lowered from the ceiling, with Black Sabbath’s War Pigs blasting away, the audience could feel a big show was commencing.
Rob Halford positioned his back to the crowd – facing drummer Scott Travis – showing the same symbol on his studded, fringed, leather jacket. So badass and cool.

Megadeth and Lamb Of God are co-headlining what has been billed as “The Metal Tour Of The Year” with support from Trivium and Hatebreed.
The show at Ruoff Music Center in Indianapolis was very well attended with the lawn area packed up with rowdy fans.
South of Eden Returns to Central Ohio
South of Eden returned home to Columbus, Ohio from months of touring out of state and performed at The King of Clubs on August 7th. Being the first home show in a quite a while, one could feel the excitement in the air. From the powerful vocals to the guitar solos, it was an amazing show of high energy. Their set contained new album tracks like “Dancing with Fire”, as well as old favorites such as “Monica” and ending with “I Barley Know Her”. It was a long awaited musical thrill for all of those in attendance.
KrashKarma’s Summer Storm Hits Ohio
The KrashKarma Summer Storm Tour blew through The King of Clubs on August 6th in Columbus, Ohio. With the live music world coming back to life, KrashKarma has hit the ground running with a summer tour and a limited edition EP titled STORM. The EP includes the newly released single “Summer Storm” and others they recorded during lockdown that were only released digitally.
Blacktop Mojo Brings The Heat To Woodlands Tavern
Blacktop Mojo from Palestine, Texas are on the rise and are touring relentlessly in support of their self-titled 4th album which dropped today. The crowd at the Woodlands Tavern show in Columbus Ohio on Wednesday was treated to some of these new tracks, opener “Wicked Woman” and later, “Tail Lights.” (videos out now)
