Boots and Hearts is wasting no time getting their 2019 lineup out there. The dust has barely had time to settle from the 2018 event and as of this morning all 4 headliners for the 2019 event are known and half of them are women!!

First to be announced was Jason Aldean earlier this week. Aldean has already been earmarked for a number of festivals in Western Canada including Sunfest and Merritt Rockin’ River Festival so it’s not a huge surprise that he’s also part of the Boots and Hearts lineup.

Miranda Lambert has been one of the most requested female artists for the annual event since she first appeared, also alongside Aldean, in 2013. Lambert has been riding a wave of success since the release of her, powerhouse, sixth studio album The Weight of These Wings. No question she’ll be a huge draw for 2019 Boots and Hearts.

Joining Lambert and Aldean and two newcomers to the annual summer festival; Cole Swindell and Maren Morris.  Swindell is hot on the heels of his third studio album All of It the last few years have also marked Swindell’s rise from a supporting act to a mainstream headlining performer. When I personally saw that Cole Swindell had been added to the lineup all I could say was “finally”. After years of recycling headliners I was happy to see a talent like Swindell, who has worked hard to make a name for himself, get the opportunity to headline at such a prestigious event.

The final headliner, announced this morning along with Cole, is none other than Maren Morris. Morris has been on our Boots and Hearts wish list ever since she first took us to church on The Highway a few years ago. We may not be “Rich” but we’re definitely going to jump in an “80’s Mercedes” and head down to Boots and Hearts in 2019 to finally experience her live in “My Church”. Maybe you could meet us in “The Middle”  when we get there.

The most impressive part of the 2019 Boots and Hearts lineup is that for the first time in a very long time 50% of the headliners is made up of women!! The fact that we even need to highlight this should tell you that there’s a problem so kudos to Republic Live for taking the leap.
