Folk metal band Bloodywood brought their System Of A Brown tour to McMenamins Crystal Ballroom in Portland, Oregon on April 16th.
The tour features a diverse line-up with support from US metalcore The Pretty Wild, Mexican rock band Ladrones and Catalonia-based alternative metal/modern metalcore ANKOR.
Bloodywood live is absolutely amazing – the insane high energy, the confidence, the in-your-face attack! There’s so much going on with Jayant Bhadula (vocals, growls), Raoul Kerr (rap vocals), Karan Katiyar (guitars, flute), Sarthak Pahwa (dhol) and Roshan Roy (bass), constantly storming across the stage, back and forth while Vishesh Singh provides the rolling thunder (drums). The intensity is real!
Bloodywood raged with their fans, opening with “Dana Dan”, then following that up with a huge fan favorite- “Nu Delhi”. (Check out the video for that song HERE.)

The rest of the setlist: “Aaf”, “Tadka”, “Jee Veerey”, “Bekhauf”, “Machi Bhasad”, “Halla Bol” and “Gaddar.” Just pure metal chaos on the stage and the fans were loving it!
