I started my concert photography journey while in high school in the late 1970's, carrying in a Pentax K1000 into venues as a fan to photograph bands like Van Halen, Judas Priest, Journey, The Who, Molly Hatchet, ZZ Top and others. Then in Atlanta, while attending Georgia State in the late 90's-early 2000's, I shot many concerts and festivals as a freelance photojournalist most notably Warped Tour, OzFest and Music Midtown. I joined the Sound Check Entertainment Team in 2019 as a photojournalist based in the Midwest US (Ohio Valley and surrounding states) and now, I am based in the Pacific Northwest, living on the beautiful Oregon Coast.
