Brockville has become a hotspot for the Canada Day long weekend over the past several years as the 1000 Islands Regatta brings the heart stopping action on the water during the day and as the sun sets all eyes turn to the main stage which has played host to some of Canada’s biggest recording artists including Honeymoon Suite, 54-40, Kim Mitchell and more.

2018 is shaping up to be equally rockin’ as the festival welcomes Canadian Music Hall of Famers April Wine to the river city. April Wine will kick off the festivities on Friday June 29 along with guests The G-Men and Mark Bergman.

On Saturday June 30 you will be able to catch all the action on the water with hydroplane races going on from 10am-4:30pm and then in the evening JUNO Award nominees and ECMA (East Coast Music Awards) winners The Trews will headline the main stage, openers will be announced at a later date.

On Canada Day (July 1) the hydroplane races continue from 10am-4:30pm followed by the racing awards ceremony at 5:30pm. TONY SILVESTRI BAND & Bourne To Rock take to the main stage on Sunday night with Canada Day fireworks lighting up the sky at 10pm.

This year’s festival sees an influx in activities in addition to the hydroplane races with a focus on musical entertainment & an expanded kid’s zone. This year’s festival will be a truly well rounded family event jam packed with entertainment for all ages. There will be Food vendors & Craft Vendors lining Blockhouse Island. Fat Les’ serving award winning poutine. There to compete is Big D’s Doghouse – with 19 different ways to make your food offerings, among other returning vendors.

Weekend Passes include all attractions i.e. hydroplane races, live music concerts Friday – Saturday – Sunday etc. June 29th – July 1st
