On April 28, 2026, Bring Me The Horizon The North American leg of their *Post Human: Nex Gen Ascension Program 2* tour hit off Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario Canada. I initially wasn’t planning to attend since I hadn’t heard from their PR team, but I made a last-minute decision to travel from Barrie, Ontario, to downtown Toronto. I packed my bag and cameras, confident I’d receive approval from management to cover the show.

Later that afternoon, I arrived in Toronto and received an email from Jordan at Huxley World confirming that I’d be on the guest list, which made my day! I was really excited for the show and spent the two-hour drive listening to Bring Me The Horizon on Spotify.

I’ve been a fan since their *Sempiternal* album, though I first heard them back in 2006 with *Count Your Blessings*. I missed several shows in NYC between 2014 and 2019. In 2022, I attended a sold-out night at Barclays Center as a fan and was just starting my journey in concert photography that year. It was tough to get approval, but this time I wasn’t going to miss them. I brought along my three Canon cameras!

The stage looked amazing, featuring different levels and large LED screens that created a vibrant atmosphere. The intro on the screens reminded everyone of an old pixelated PlayStation horror game, which really pumped up the crowd. Cheers filled the venue, shaking the ground. As the lights dimmed, fans knew the show was about to begin. One by one, the band members came on stage, and when the music started, BOOM – confetti flew everywhere, and the crowd went wild as the band kicked off with their song Darkside,” followed by “The House of Wolves.”

The night continued to impress the audience with an amazing show. Dancing nuns added to the excitement, while flames shot up, ice blasts went off, sparks fell from above, and confetti rained down on everyone. Even with all the flashy effects, the music felt deep and emotional. The band played popular songs with skill, blending heavy sounds with uplifting choruses, as only Bring Me the Horizon can. The crowd responded at another level—constantly moving across the floor, with waves of singing, screaming, and moshing that never fully let up.

As the band’s set was wrapping up, Oli Sykes took a moment to thank everyone for coming and supporting them. He shared that this was their biggest show in North America so far, which made it even more special for me even this is not my hometown. The night ended with a fantastic performance of “Throne,” complete with flames, confetti, and smoke filling the stage. What a show! The crowd was insane, and the band, as usual, was unbelievable. Thanks for everything oli and the band member!
