It was a big day for country music concert announcements especially if you live in eastern Ontario.  Reigning three-time ACM Male Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year nominee Jason Aldean announced his “We Were Here Tour” and 22-time CCMA Award winner Gord Bamford along with 4-time Grammy nominee Joe Nichols announced today their co-headline “Certified Country Tour”.

Reigning three-time ACM Male Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year nominee Jason Aldean recently released his sixth studio album OLD BOOTS, NEW DIRT, which debuted at No. one on Billboard’s all-genre Top 200 chart. The new album’s smoking lead single, “Burnin’ It Down” topped both country radio charts and earned Platinum certification only nine weeks after release, making it the fastest selling single of 2014.

Aldean’s newest single, “Gonna Know We Were Here,” is now available at Country Radio. To date, Aldean has sold more than ten million albums, each of which has been certified at least Platinum and has taken 14 trips to No. one at country radio. Last year, Aldean was recognized by the RIAA as the top male digital country artist in history with sales totaling more than 21.5 million downloads.

Certified Country Tour

CERTIFIED-COUNTRY_DAWSON-F22-time CCMA Award winner Gord Bamford along with 4-time Grammy nominee Joe Nichols announced today their co-headline “Certified Country Tour”. The tour kicks off on April 7th in Medicine Hat and will make stops in 18 cities between Abbotsford, BC and St. Johns, NFLD including Kelowna at Prospera Place on April13. Bamford who is a 3-time and the current CCMA Male Artist of the Year along with country hit maker Joe Nichols are excited to bring this tour to their fans across Canada.

Gord Bamford is one of Canada’s most decorated country artists and his current smash single “Don’t Let Her Be Gone” is the #1 Canadian song on the charts this week. The tour will be supporting Bamford’s highly anticipated 7th studio album with Sony Music Canada will be available in March 2016.

As one of country’s most praised traditional artists, Joe Nichols five #1 hits and eight top 10 singles make him a familiar voice to Canadian fans. Listen for Joe’s latest single “Freaks Like Me” which will be released to Canadian radio on January 4th.

In 2014 Nichols became one of only two artists to spend more than two weeks at #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart when ‘Yeah” held the top spot for three weeks.

Also joining Gord and Joe on tour in the West is MacKenzie Porter who will take the stage in Medicine Hat, Red Deer, Lethbridge & Dawson Creek and The Washboard Union in Prince George, Kelowna and Abbotsford. The Eastern dates will see 2015 CCMA Rising Star nominee Tristan Horncastle on the Maritime shows and 2015 CCMA Group or Duo of the Year nominee Autumn Hill joining in for the six Ontario shows.
