Trackside Music Festival announces nine new artists to complete full two-day main stage line-up

London, Ontario – February 17th, 2017: Trackside Music Festival is the place to be this Canada Day weekend as country music’s brightest young talent comes to town and takes the stage July 1st and 2nd at Western Fair District. Canada Day’s hottest music festival’s full lineup was announced this morning boasting nine new artists bringing the main stage total to thirteen acts to ensure a non-stop party for two days. You don’t want to miss this!

Joining headliner, and ACM award nominee Thomas Rhett and platinum selling Canadian star Dallas Smith on July 1st will be American country music superstar in the making Canaan Smith as well as rising Canadian country phenom Lindsay Ell. Trackside fans will also be able to “get rowdy” with 2017 Juno Nominee Aaron Pritchett who will bring his rock energy to the country audience on day one of the festival. Exploding onto the country music scene in 2012 Genevieve Fisher has risen steadily as one of Canada’s top female country artists and she will take the stage in her hometown this Canada Day.

Day two of the festival, headlined by Kip Moore, alongside the already announced Grammy nominated Brothers Osborne will be five Canadian country artists that are guaranteed to have the crowd singing and dancing the entire day! Country music fans will be kicking it with crowd favorite Brett Kissel who will ring in the country’s birthday weekend at Trackside for the second year. Fellow canuck Meghan Patrick will be bringing ‘Grace & Grit’ to the stage, while the James Barker Band is sure to have anyone who may have gotten ‘Lawn Chair Lazy’ up and dancing. Local favorites, River Town Saints and The Recklaws have also been added to the July 2nd line-up and round out the weekend’s festivities.

Still to be announced are the local acts who will perform on the Sidetrack Stage for the Home Grown Showcase.
